BCIT’s **School of Computing and Academic Studies**is seeking **1 temporary, full-time (1.0**FTE**)**and** 1 temporary, part-time (0.2**FTE**) Faculty, Computer Systems Technology**to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science program.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Applicants with skills and industry expertise in **one or more** of the following areas will be given preference:

- **Digital Signal Processing**:

- **Computer Networks, Architecture, and Operating Systems**:

- Programming (JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C# and C++)

**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum three years of current and relevant industry experience
- Minimum related Master’s degree, PhD an asset
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching Computing
- Experience teaching topics in Computing and Software Development in a post-secondary education environment considered an asset
- Online teaching experience considered an asset

**Salary Range**
- Salary Range: $65,045 - $113,545 per annum.

**Additional Salary Information**
- Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
