**JOB SUMMARY**
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, providing excellent guest service, and supporting front desk staff to ensure efficient and welcoming check-in/check-out processes.
**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greets and assists guests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay to ensure a positive experience.
- Oversees front desk staff performance, schedules shifts, and provides training and guidance.
- Manages room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel property management software.
- Responds to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensures accurate processing of payments, billing, and guest accounts.
- Coordinates with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Maintains front desk area cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
- Handles emergency situations following hotel procedures and ensures guest safety.
- Ensures proper handover between shifts and maintains clear communication among team members.
- Maintains a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- Prior experience (1-3 years) in a front desk supervisory role.
- Proficient in hotel management systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**MENTAL EFFORT**
- Mental attentiveness required to manage guest requests, prioritize tasks, and respond to unforeseen challenges.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while solving problems efficiently.
**PHYSICAL EFFORT**
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or carry office supplies or luggage.
- May require walking or escorting guests around the hotel property.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Frequent interaction with guests, team members, and hotel departments.
- Must be comfortable handling occasional guest concerns and high-pressure situations.
**TYPE OF SUPERVISION REQUIRED**
Reports to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager. Works under general direction with expectations to lead the front desk team and meet service standards.

Pay: From $18.38 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
