A Bread Affair is looking for a seasonal Part-time Farmer's Market Sales Representative. Because this position is seasonal, it is perfect for a university student looking to earn some extra cash over the summer while enjoying the sunshine

**About the role**:
Your job will be to set up stalls at various markets throughout the greater Vancouver region and to promote A Bread Affair's products by telling consumers about our fantastic, organic, artisan bread and selling our products This position is a part-timeopportunity during the weekends. The typical start time for this position is anywhere between 6:30 - 8:00 am, and the typical end time for this position is anywhere between 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Successful applicants must have a **valid BC driver's license** (no vehicle is required), a warm and outgoing personality, and will enjoy the variety of tasks that are involved in running a stall at your local farmer's markets.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Excellent reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service experience dealing with customers in a fast-paced working environment
- The ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Prior experience in a sales position is considered an asset but not required
- A Valid Drivers License

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Packing the products and supplies needed for market operations in accordance with daily invoices.
- Transporting the products and supplies to/from market locations.
- Setting up a vendor booth at market locations including tent set up, tables, sanitization, and product display.
- Following food safety guidelines while transporting and handling products.
- Meeting sales expectations by actively sampling, describing products and their usage, and answering customer questions.
- Keeping accurate records of product sell-out times, sampling, and trades.
- Booth breakdown, including packing up unsold products in an organized and careful manner, counting returns, and cleaning up.
- Maintaining a positive, friendly attitude when dealing with the customers, vendors, and the general public.

**Compensation**:
The starting rate of pay for this position is $18.90/hour + tips
