**Market Associate (Part Time)**

We are seeking a new team member to help us with our markets and events So if you enjoy meeting people, engaging with local community farmers markets or local events, and are interested in the craft mead/cider/beer industry? Then we’d love to hear from you

Humblebee is Vancouver’s only craft meadery, making alcohol from fermenting honey. We believe in recrafting one of the oldest alcohols in the world to compare with the likes of craft beer and cider. We are a small company with big ambitions and believe our role as a local business is to have a positive impact on our community. Our Market Associates are responsible for selling mead at artisan and farmers markets in Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. The work is part time, and involves picking up supplies, setting up and taking down our market stall before and after each market/event, serving samples, explaining how our mead is different to market goers, processing payments and cash handling, as well as acting as being a Humblebee brand ambassador. We will also be able to provide the majority of your schedule for the summer right away. Access to a vehicle is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Vendor booth set up at market locations including unloading, tent set up, tables, sanitization, and product display set up.
- Following LDB sampling guidelines
- Engage with customers through describing products and answering customer questions.
- Keeping accurate records of product sales and trades.
- Booth teardown, packing up unsold products and cleaning up.
- Maintaining a positive, friendly attitude when dealing with the customers, vendors, and the general public.
- Ability to work unsupervised

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour
