**BAK’D Farmers Market Job Description**

Founded in April 2020, BAK’D Cookies is a local brother and sister owned company that makes 5 oz gourmet cookies. BAK’D Cookies are not like your typical cookies. They are BIG, made locally, with high quality ingredients. As we continue to serve the lower mainland with deliciousness, we are looking to grow our team and need a hard working and fun cookie lover

We are looking for someone to support at farmers market. You are not required to do them all as we are not at all of these days and times every single week but this is to give you a general idea.

Please keep in mind that for all markets, budget in 30-75 minutes of paid travel time, 30-60 minutes of set up time, 30-45 minutes take down time.
- Wednesday - Vancouver Art Gallery from 2-6PM
- Thursday - False Creek or New West from 3-7PM
- Saturdays - Fort Langley, Burnaby, Tswassen, Fort Langley, Haney, etc usually from 10-2PM
- Sundays - White Rock, Clayton, Coquitlam etc usually from 10-2PM

Farmers Markets will not need support until Summer but it requires someone who is able to:

- Embody and exemplify the BAK’D brand
- Provide excellent customer service skills
- Great communication and problem solving skills
- Have a phone with data to use for the Point of Sales (POS) System
- Can stand for long periods of time (4-5 hours)
- Able to lift up to 20kg
- Required: valid driver's license
- Preferably: have a bigger vehicle (Crossover, SUV, Truck, etc)

As you can see, the job requires someone who can be flexible in scheduling and also problem solve efficiently as there are a lot of external factors and variance from market to market. Furthermore, we do provide a market van (ie. Honda Odyssey) but you are more than welcome to use your own vehicle and we will cover gas.

As we are a small but growing business, we need someone who will be flexible, reliable, has the ability to wear many hats, and a lot of fun to fit in with our team. This is a two way street for us and so this means that we will be accommodating to your schedule to the best of our abilities (ie. less shifts during midterM/Finals week, easy days of requests, needing more shifts, etc).

We also offer 30% employee discounts, a free box of four on birthdays, non-alcoholic drink fridge fully stocked (and we take requests), and of course - company celebration get-togethers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.50 per hour
