_**Sales and Marketing Student Internship Overview**:_
Are you a motivated student looking to gain hands-on experience in sales and digital marketing? We're looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Representative to lead our brand's expansion in Vancouver, B.C. This part-time summer internship (May-September) caters to students enrolled in a Canadian accredited post-secondary institution, offering hands-on experience in promoting our Meal Prep Kits and Mountain Meals within the food and outdoor industry.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as a Sales Representative at local farmers markets as well as participate in other promotional activities. Responsibilities include transporting and setting up booth materials, engaging with customers to provide product information and encourage purchases, embodying the company's values as a brand ambassador, collecting customer feedback, and tailoring sales strategies based on market dynamics.
- Utilize Square point-of-sale system, payment processing system, and software for invoicing and inventory management, ensuring efficient and accurate transactions and streamlined financial operations.
- Assist in the creation, and implementation of digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive product sales.
- Conduct market research to identify potential retailers, assess market demand, and develop relationships with local retail partners and distributors. This includes dropping off samples at potential retail locations to introduce our products and generate interest among store managers and buyers, as well as conducting store sampling events to allow customers to taste our products firsthand and increase awareness and sales in retail locations.

**Mandatory Qualifications**:

- Canadian citizen, permanent resident.
- Enrolled in a program at a Canadian accredited post-secondary institution during the work placement period.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must have valid driving license and their own vehicle to use at work.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Strong interest in digital marketing, and technology
- Previous experience or coursework related to digital marketing, sales, or e-commerce is preferred.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools is required.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

**Schedule**:
May, 2025 - September 2025 (with possibility to extend into the fall with reduced hours)
- Farmers Market shifts are dependent on availability but typically include:

- Biweekly Thursdays: ~1:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Saturdays: ~8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Sundays: ~8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Remote work Shifts are available with a flexible schedule.
- Expected hours: ~10-20h/week

**Job Types**: Part-time, Internship, Contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
