**Job Overview**:
A Bread Affair is hiring enthusiastic Farmers Market Sales Representatives for the fall and winter season across the Greater Vancouver area. This is a **part-time role** with **1-2 shifts per week**, on weekends, with start times as early as **7:30 a.m.**

We’re looking for someone who is **outgoing, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors year-round in**rain, shine, or Vancouver chill. You’ll be the face of BC’s first certified organic bakery, connecting with market customers and sharing your love of real, local bread.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and take down market displays, tents, and bread products.
- Drive a company vehicle to and from assigned farmers markets (**Class 5 driver’s license required**).
- Engage warmly with customers, share product knowledge, and offer samples.
- Operate the POS system and accurately handle cash and card transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels throughout the market day and report sellouts or issues.
- Support promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- Keep the booth clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
- Represent **A Bread Affair** with professionalism and enthusiasm in every interaction.

**Requirements**:

- Available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), with early morning start times.
- FoodSafe certification **preferred**.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and manage time well.
- Physically able to lift up to **50 lbs (20 kg)** and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

**Compensation and Perks**:
$19.56/hour + tips

Part-time (1-2 shifts/week) on weekends

**Shifts**:
8 to 10 hours per day depending on market location and customer traffic

Typical shift run between 800 am - 5:00 pm

**Experience**:
Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

Market or Event Sales: an asset

Licence/Certification:Class 5 Driver's License (required)

FoodSafe (preferred)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.56 per hour
