**Position Summary**:

- Responsible for the provision of personal care of Residents and Private Clients.
- Utilize the Resident’s Care Plan to provide individualized care.
- Promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being of residents and families.
- Complies with policies, procedures, and work routines.
- Ensures a safe and clean work environment.
- Works in partnership with other individuals and departments to promote customer service for residents and their families.

**Qualifications**:

- **Health Care Aide Certificate.**
- Registered Nurse Student who has successfully completed their 2nd year.
- Licensed Practical Nurse student who has successfully completed their 1st year of schooling and meet qualification requirement.
- Current Criminal Record Check, Child, and Adult Abuse Registry Checks.
- Preference given to applicants with work experience in a Continuing Care setting.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
- Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and to complete assignments in a safe and timely manner.
- Demonstrates concern and interest in providing a safe and attractive environment for residents, families, guests / visitors, and staff.
- Demonstrates effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to function as an effective team member with other staff, residents, families, and the public.

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.30 per hour
