About You / What We Are Looking For
As result of a promotion, we are seeking an Executive Assistant for our recently formed Community Safety department. Reporting to the GM Community Safety, you will work closely alongside peers in our Bylaw Enforcement and Animal Services division, our Emergency and Risk Management division, as well as those in our Civilian Police and Fire and Rescue teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled executive assistant to join our exempt team

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar executive assistant or senior administrative role.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
- A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Administration or a directly related field.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an executive assistant in the public or private sector.
- Extensive experience as an executive assistant in a professional setting reporting to an executive team member.
What We Offer:
This excluded position has an annual salary range of $89,964 - $97,305. The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.

Additionally, there is an opportunity to participate in a flex day program. This position is based in Coquitlam with some flexible, hybrid work options available. The City offers an attractive vacation and extended benefits package, including the ability to contribute to the Municipal Pension Plan.
