**Overview**:
The Remote District Account Manager promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers. This role informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices, and creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.

This is a remote role supporting the Ontario CA area.

**Responsibilities**:
**Account Management**
- Take a long-term approach to the customer and do the things today that will be most beneficial to the customer and company.
- Ensure all needs of the account are being met in a way that is profitable to both company and the account
- Coordinate the DSM, Tech Service, GMS, etc. and other 3rd parties on the customers behalf to maximize the customer experience in a profitable way for the entire company.
- Anticipate the customers problems and bring them solutions
- Be pro-active in gathering new information from the customer.
- Provide benchmarking studies comparing them to their competitors

**Sales**
- Working with District Sales Manager on selling products and services to prospective customers
- Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
- Maintaining positive business relationships with Key Accounts to ensure future sales
- Develop industry relations with key individuals and organizations that will allow for integration of our company through the dairy supply chain
- Negotiate and maintain customer contracts
- Develop and Implement strategies to grow accounts and overall profitability
- Forecast budget, revenue, and gross margin for each account, and all opportunities
- Achieve budgeted revenue and expense targets as defined for each fiscal year.
- Work with the finance department to help manage accounts receivable

**Breeding**
- Provide heat detection and insemination service to assigned customers
- Work with customers to develop on-farm procedures to help facilitate implementation of Reproductive Management Service (RMS) in each customer’s operation
- Provide for the safe, efficient and successful insemination of customer herds
- Cooperate with farm management and other farm advisors to integrate Reproductive Management System into total farm management plan
- Assist in locating, training and developing competent Relief Technicians

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years’ experience in the beef cattle industry
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Solid sales skills including effective persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish preferred

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
