At The Green Window, we're on a mission to reinvent fast food—serving up fresh, healthy, and delicious salads and bowls that fuel busy lives. Founded in 2019 in London, Ontario, we’re proud to be a local go-to for feel-good meals made with love and daily-prepped ingredients.
This fall, we’re launching a brand-new _Salad Subscription_—and we’re looking for a creative and driven culinary grad to fully own this exciting new arm of the business. From recipe development and menu planning to prep, execution, and innovation, you’ll lead every aspect of the subscription program and help shape its growth from the ground up.
If you're passionate about nutritious food, love crafting exciting and delicious salads, and want to play a leadership role in redefining fast food—this role is for you.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- **Salad Development**: Craft vibrant, nutrient-packed salads using our current ingredient offerings (and adding new additions) that reflect current culinary trends and guest preferences.
- **Menu Planning**: Plan subscription menu weeks in advance—create a rotating menu that is seasonal, balanced, and never boring
- **Kitchen Leadership & Prep**: Take a hands-on role in the kitchen by leading the team during prep days, helping prepare salads for our delivery service, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- **Ingredient Ordering**: Source and order ingredients for the subscription menu, ensuring top quality and mínimal waste.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with our founder and team to bring new ideas to life and elevate The Green Window brand.
- **Food Styling & Photography Support**: Style salads to highlight their freshness and visual appeal, and assist during photoshoots to ensure each dish looks its best for our website and marketing.
- **Customer Order Management**: Handle customer questions and concerns related to their subscription orders to ensure a smooth experience.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Required: Culinary school degree/diploma
- A creative eye and passion for nutritious, healthy food
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to plan ahead
- Works well independently, and takes initiative
- Available mostly **day shifts** with **one early morning** per week (hours to be determined)
- Passionate about health and sustainability
- Maintains a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
