**The opportunity**

Reporting directly to the logistics manager, the logistics clerk intern is responsible for managing and optimizing transportation, warehousing, and supply chain operations. Key duties include:

- ** Data Entry & Documentation**: Maintain accurate records in JF LLC and NTE, and prepare tender documents for transport and warehouse services.
- ** Supplier & Stakeholder Communication**: Engage with key suppliers, carriers, and third-party warehouses to ensure smooth operations.
- ** Supply Chain Coordination**: Oversee shipment scheduling, transportation routes, customs processes, and cross-docking operations to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
- ** Shipment Tracking & Reporting**: Monitor shipments, address delays, and provide management with performance reports on key metrics such as delivery efficiency, cost control, and inventory management.

**The Role**
- Data entry in JF LLC and NTE
- Managing and preparing tender documents for transport and warehouse services.
- Engaging and maintaining communication with key suppliers, carriers, and third-party warehouses.
- Ensuring timely and accurate updates are relayed to all stakeholders to avoid any delays in the supply chain.
- Requesting and tracking the customs processes for import/export.
- Coordinating cross-docking operations to facilitate smooth transfer and re-distribution of goods.
- Scheduling shipments and managing transportation routes for maximum efficiency. H.
- Tracking shipments to ensure timely deliveries, including coordinating with the carriers to manage any delays.
- Ensuring all logistics data is accurately recorded and updated in the system.
- Providing reports to management on key metrics such as on-time performance, cost efficiency, and inventory management.

**What you will bring**
- Education_
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, road shipments, customs MX, USA and CAN, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- Skills_
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong English communication in written and oral
- Organized and meticulous with focus on accuracy
- Additional Considerations_
- The position will require availability on weekends and after-hours, particularly during the peak season, to ensure the logistics process runs without interruptions.
