**LFI Laurentide Forwarders (Canada) Inc. - a division of TAM International, is looking for a talented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in St-Laurent, QC.**

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating international and domestic shipments in a fast-paced work environment and ensuring that internationally traded goods move from point of origin to point of destination, arriving at the right place, at the right time, in good order and condition, and at the most economical cost.

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilizing strong organizational skills to arrange the timely pick-up of freight; organizing transportation between intermediate destinations, i.e., port facilities, cargo terminals, and railway yards
- Coordinating domestic and international transports via air, ocean, and ground; working with customs brokers to ensure compliance
- Keeping clients informed throughout the transportation cycle
- Working within contracts and service level agreements for third party suppliers
- Updating the customer and the Operations Manager on the status of projects and other process improvement initiatives
- Adhering to the organization's safety policies and working in accordance with applicable international safety standards and local laws
- Manage and update data within internal CRM and freight management systems
- Knowledgeable of and participation in LFI’s Quality Management System
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required

**Key Requirements**:

- Completion of post-secondary education is preferred.
- 1-3 years of direct work experience in a logistics and/or transport function, or supply chain management.
- Air and Ocean logistics experience preferred
- Dangerous goods experience preferred
- Safety awareness
- Solid project management skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good financial and business awareness.
- Familiar with enterprise-level track-and-trace systems.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and customers.
- Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Team player.
- Bi-lingual (French) a plus
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
