You enjoy administrative tasks and you have a keen eye for detail. You are able to oversee administrative safety tasks for multiple companies across all industries. You are a self-starter and have a basic safety background to assist you in your daily tasks.
You are looking for a place you can grow your safety skills and learn from seasoned safety advisors. You are comfortable liaising with clients and helping meet their needs. You are comfortable public speaking. You have a passion for safety and would like to improve or learn the back end of safety.
You have excellent administrative and multitasking skills, you are good at data entry and report generation. You have a solid understanding of Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro. And you possess excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
About the job:
- You will report to the owner and be responsible for overseeing administrative safety tasks on a day-to-day basis for our clients based on their specific needs using our safety programs.
- You will help clients obtain, maintain and implement their COR, SECOR or Enform designations.
- You will review legislation/site/company/industry requirements and ensure client's safety programs are in compliance.
- You will improve safety culture's for our clients with our measured, successful approach.
- This particular job has one in person location, in Edmonton, that must be visited each week for site compliance.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Manage the administrative component for HSE department which includes;
- Preparing and maintaining safety reports and documentation
- Generating and regularly updating data
- Creating PowerPoint presentations
- Safety meeting reports
- Updating SOP's
- Support the development and execution of HSE training programs as required
- Monitor all client sites to ensure we are in good standing with all customers
- Assist in the processing, tracking, recording, and reporting of incident data
- Participate in site visits one day a week

Prior experience in the area of health, safety is required.
HSA or NCSO designation an asset or must be enrolled in program.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 - 30 per week
**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
