This full-time position would be delivering Energy Safety Canada (ESC)-approved courses, and potentially other Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Ground Disturbance courses at our Edmonton Training Centre and occasionally at other sites across the province. The role reports to the Manager, Instructor-Led Training and working hours will be from Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend shift possible.

As a Worksite Health & Safety Instructor your **key responsibilities** are:

- Delivering engaging and informative training sessions
- Evaluating participants through practical skills and written evaluation
- Organizing, filing and submitting digital and hard copy participant records following training
- Providing direction and advisory services to assist clients with health & safety programming and compliance
- Participating in team meetings and instructor development workshops
- 3+ years’ experience delivering safety training
- ESC Instructor certification, in Fall Protection preferably
- Background in construction, oil and gas management and/or occupational health & safety preferred
- Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Ground Disturbance and Confined Space Entry and Rescue experience an asset
- Strong presentation and adult-engagement skills
- Responsible self-starter who can work independently, while also contributing to the instructor team
- Valid Alberta Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work
- Reside and able to legally work in Canada
