Rehab & Wellness Clinic Front Desk Receptionist

**About Us**
Kefi wellness centre is a multidisciplinary clinic located in Oakville, Ontario. We aim to provide evidence-based treatment to our patients with patient-centred care. We want to partner with our patients that take a proactive and preventative approach to maintain a higher quality of life.
**Job Duties**
- Ensure optimal patient care through friendly, enthusiastic and professional service with all patients and team members
- Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns
- Coordinate a detailed and accurate intake of information on the patient's first visit to the clinic
- Register new patients in line with acceptable standards of the clinic; support patients in filling medical forms at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information
- Using electronic medical record files and coordinating the scheduling of future appointments for patients with all providers as directed
- Ensuring optimal patient care by suggesting additional services or products as indicated, and in the patient’s best interest
- Collect payment at the time of service and follow up on outstanding payments
- Complete accurate clinic billing, insurance direct billing and follow up on accounts receivable as required
- Complete daily laundry
- Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Clinic Manager
**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients and staff members
- Ability to exercise good judgement, resourceful, strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively handle high-pressure situations
- Able to adapt to change with clinic operations to continuously learn and strive for improved patient care
- Self-starter with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with clinic management software, online insurance billing, and accounts receivables
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic; loves working with people
- Excellent verbal communication skills and professional phone mannerisms
- Ability to recognize the need for other clinic services for clients, where applicable
- Strong computer literacy
- Experience with cloud-based clinic management software(Jane App) and Outlook is an asset
- Accounting and bookkeeping skills is an asset
**Experience**
- Receptionist: 1 year (required)
- Experience in a clinic setting: 1 year (preferred)
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week
**Salary**: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Work Location: In person
