**Position Title**: Accounting and Membership Administration Coordinator
**Department**:Administration
**Reports to**:Controller and Administration Manager
**Overview**
The position is the main point of contact for all accounts receivable inquiries.
**Terms of Employment**
This position is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (some work outside regular business hours may be required).
**Duties and Responsibilitie**
Accounts Receivable:
- Daily updates of sales for the Club.
- Process daily deposits of cheques, cash, and other payments to accounts (includes occasional trips to a bank branch for cash deposits).
- Process adjustments, and other membership fee billings.
- Process reciprocal club charges.
- Respond to account inquiries.
- Ensure accounts are in good standing by following Club’s policy on overdue accounts.
- Prepare and mail monthly statements.
- Maintaining an organized filing system for all appropriate documents.
- Assist the controller in monthly accounts and bank reconciliations.
Office Administration and Membership:
- Provide administrative support across the organization
- Responsible for ensuring office supplies are stocked, and office equipment is up to date and in good working order. Respond to member inquires.
- Maintain up-to-date membership database including JONAS profiles and member files.
- Assist with membership reporting as required.
- Additional duties, tasks and projects as may be required.
Other Duties:
- Assist other members of the administration department including reception and accounts payable duties.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven work experience as an accounts receivable clerk, data analyst, or similar accounting functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (i.e. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance with excellent customer service attitude
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks
- High standards of ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
- Proven ability to be proactive and use good judgement
- Must be responsible, dependable, and work well with various departmental managers and staff
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
