**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Planning & Redevelopment the **Manager, Facilities Infrastructure Planning**will provide leadership, technical insight, and strategic coordination to ensure facilities operations requirements are integrated into all phases of planning, design, and implementation for redevelopment and capital projects across WRHN’s University, Chicopee, Queens, and Midtown campuses.

The **Manager, Facilities Infrastructure Planning**will serve as the primary liaison between Facilities Operations and the Redevelopment Team, ensuring alignment of infrastructure needs with WRHN’s long-term capital and strategic priorities. The role will lead and review detailed facility assessments and engage with site operations teams to identify and prioritize capital infrastructure requirements to enable and support the Master Plan. The **Manager, Facilities Infrastructure Planning**will lead and manage the work of project consultants and design teams and coordinate internal stakeholders to support effective planning and ensure that operational functionality, growth, and regulatory compliance are embedded in all project stages. This includes coordinating input from user groups, contributing to technical reviews, and providing technical and operational related insight throughout project development and implementation.

Strong project management skills are essential. The **Manager, Facilities Infrastructure Planning**must have experience delivering complex healthcare infrastructure initiatives, with the ability to manage timelines, identify and mitigate risks, and coordinate effectively across multiple departments and disciplines. The role requires a strong understanding of the Ministry of Health’s capital planning process, including submission requirements, approval pathways, and infrastructure funding mechanisms. Experience with the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund (HIRF) is required, with the ability to assess project needs to provide prioritization and strategic funding recommendations to the Director and broader Redevelopment team.

The **Manager, Infrastructure Planning & Facilities Integration**will work collaboratively with senior project leads across operations, clinical programs, planning, and leadership to ensure alignment of infrastructure initiatives with broader organizational objectives. The role requires strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders, support decision-making, and contribute to project success in a complex and evolving environment.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:
**General/Technical**
- Lead the development of the Capital Facilities Infrastructure Plan and Standard Specifications; and act as the primary liaison between Facilities Operations and the Redevelopment Team to align the initiatives and plans across all WRHN sites.
- Lead and review detailed facility infrastructure assessments, reports and other information as it is updated to continuously update and confirm alignment with the Master Plan.
- Interpret technical infrastructure reports and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Support the evaluation of existing facility assets to determine end-of-life and renewal needs.
- Engage with site operations leaders to gather input, validate infrastructure data, and identify key priorities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to integrate facility requirements into design solutions.
- Ensure operational needs are accurately represented in redevelopment plans, functional programs, and design documents.
