Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is implementing a multi-year Facilities Redevelopment Master Plan to facilitate building a regional system of care that will meet the growing needs of the local community, expected to grow to 1 Million by 2050, and provide care closer to home for decades to come.
Led by the Vice President, Redevelopment, the Redevelopment Team works collaboratively across WRHN to plan, design, and implement all components of the Multi-Year Facilities Redevelopment Master Plan. The plan includes:

**Position Summary**:
As a team member of the of the Waterloo Regional Health Network (WHRN) Redevelopment Office, and under the direction of the Senior Project Manager, Infrastructure Planning & Redevelopment, the **_Project Manager, Infrastructure Planning & Redevelopment _**will provide manage and deliver capital projects within the existing Waterloo Regional Health Network portfolio of facilities.**
**The**Project Manager,**will bring an understanding of complex and interdisciplinary project delivery in healthcare, have experience in the development of transactional/construction contract documents, procurement, and construction management to the position. An understanding of clinical planning, and planning and design, of healthcare projects delivered using various project delivery methods is considered an asset.**
**The Project Manager, should have knowledge of the Ministry of Health capital processes and work in compliance with the Ontario Building Code, CSA Infection Prevention and Control Standards, Occupational Health & Safety Act, and other relevant legislation and/or regulations.**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**General Responsibilities**:
- **be a member of the team responsible for the implementation of the project’s development, provide input, review, coordination and integration of the planning, design and transactional documentation into the project works, including, but not limited to, working with consultants to develop project specifications and FFE project integration requirements;**:
- **Support in the development of project RFQs, RFPs, and Contracts for capital projects and provide support to the Senior Project Manager, Infrastructure Planning & Redevelopment in the execution of redevelopment projects at Midtown;**:
- **Lead, as required, all project related meetings with the hospital user groups, project partners and various authorities having jurisdiction;**:
- **Work with Project Directors, Managers and Senior Project Managers to identify project related risk throughout the implementation of the project;**:
- **Assist as required in the development of facility decommissioning requirements as a result of facility consolidations to the new University site;**:
- **Provide open communication and support effective collaboration with the project team to ensure cohesive approach to a successful project delivery;**:
- **Assist Redevelopment Team Project Managers & Coordinators**as required to address project related scope, schedule and budget requirements**and project implementation.**
- **Technical Requirements**
- Works with the Infrastructure Planning & Redevelopment team, Facilities Operations Team and others to support the development of project technical requirements with internal project staff, consultants, and hospital user groups;- **Provide input into the development of project plans, scheduling of works, and implementation schedules;**:
- **Work with internal project resources in procurement, quality, bio-medical, information communication technology, facilities, and engineering to undertake project requirements.**
