**MAINTENANCE and FACILITIES MANAGER**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing all functions of building, machinery, equipment and maintenance personnel for all four Krug facilities.
- Maintain the machinery and facilities through an effective maintenance scheduling system and communications with operations management.
- Service the needs of production and ensure emergency response in breakdown situations.
- Maintain an effective Preventative Maintenance Program in all facilities.
- Safety - Maintains a safe working environment for staff at all times through adherence to O.H.S.A. and company policies.
- Budget - Develop and manage budgets for machinery and facility repairs, fuel, electrical and water consumption, fork trucks and alarm costs.
- Manage the procurement, cost and performance of contractors associated with machinery and facility repairs.
- Continuous Improvement - Generate new ideas/suggestions, methods to improve equipment and reduce costs. Keeps abreast of new technologies.
- Leadership - Motivate all staff to ensure positive morale and performance.
- Quality - Maintains company quality standards in all operations.
- Communicates quality standards and expectations to all staff.
- Personal Development - Continues to develop skills through training courses/seminars, magazines, etc.
- Completes annual performance reviews of maintenance staff and provides formal feedback. Provides regular verbal/written performance feedback to staff on an ongoing basis.
- Performs all responsibilities and duties in accordance with Krug’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering degree or Journeyperson in a designated maintenance trade, plus relevant management courses.
- 5 - 10 years trade experience with sound technical hands-on experience coupled with a minimum of three years management experience.
- Strong health and safety background and working knowledge of the OHSA and the Building Code.
- Ability to plan, organize and execute projects utilizing your resources.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the capability of developing a strong team.
- Critical thinking and the ability to take a broad approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
