**Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator**

MAC Group of Companies is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our rapidly growing and supportive team **This position will be on day shifts Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (8-to-9-hour shifts), with an opportunity to become a full-time position (Monday to Friday) in December.**

Founded over 60 years ago, the London-based MAC Group of Companies is comprised of 5 major operating companies:
**Responsibilities**:

- Daily mailing of product samples and documents for the sales team.
- Coordinate freight and logistics, organize trucks to come and pick up materials, and prepare customs paperwork for shipments.
- Order and restock office supplies inventory.
- Maintain coffee stations, keep them clean and filled and order supplies.
- Assist in organizing monthly Fun Friday events.
- Scan and file invoices, packing lists and other documents using printers and Viewpoint software.
- Assist Administration department to coordinate appointments and maintenance.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail daily.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in an administrative office role is an asset, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are required, with an emphasis on Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Typing speed of minimum 35 Words Per Minute.
- Punctual, organized, and motivated to learn.
- Friendly, genuine, honest, and reliable with an approachable and engaging personality.
- Articulate with great verbal and written communication skills and grammar.
- Demonstrates professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills, organization and strong attention to detail.
