MOBIA is currently seeking a Bilingual Telecom Design Spec Writer to join our growing Team.

**The Bilingual Telecom Design Spec Writer is responsible for**:

- Analyzing and understanding Core Network plans
- Facilitating the preparation of installation specifications to assist central office installation forces in building core networks.
- Completing and issuing installation specifications to meet critical delivery milestones.
- Interpreting field assignment requests to ensure appropriate information is captured in the installation specification.
- Creating material lists and order minor and major materials.
- Information gathering to facilitate the creation of a complete installation specification.
- Ensuring provisioning milestones are completed by appropriate deadlines.
- Knowledge of Inside Plant Fibre Systems (Cable, Distribution, Termination)
- Quality control for specs and drawings.
- Ensuring design standards are adhered to.
- Quality control for designs and drawings.
- Other duties as required.

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- Excellent software skills with a high attention to detail.
- Experience in using MS Office, Excel, Outlook etc
- Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English is required.
- Customer Service focused individuals that take pride in delivering high quality products.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of Telecommunication core network would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience in the telecom field as an installer or maintenance technician would be an asset.
