**Position Overview**: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Scale Operator to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the dispatch of our recycling fleet, operating the scale, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of incoming and outgoing materials. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and dispatch recycling trucks and drivers to various locations.
- Operate the scale to weigh incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain accurate records of materials received and dispatched.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and drivers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a dispatch or scale operator role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using TMS software, Microsoft office, Office 365.
- Knowledge of recycling and waste management practices is an asset.
- Must be available for flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.

This is a casual position with variable hours based on business needs, ideal for someone looking to supplement an income.
