Jack & Jill Health Inc. is a fully online telemedicine service built for men and women in Canada. We provide healthcare solutions and free appointments from the comfort of the home.

**Open Position**

We are looking for a qualified in-house full time **Communications Specialist **to join our team. The communications clerk will support our internal and external communications to patients, write and disseminate information to individual clients, as well as help craft overall messaging to clients as a whole.

To succeed as a communications specialist, you should be able to think creatively, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree or college diploma with experience in communications or equivalent experience in a similar role is strongly desired.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the head of Jill Health, Product Manager and Customer Service Manager to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience(s).
- Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand via amazing communications.
- Manage conflict as it arises and escalating to appropriate team members
- Ensuring clients have an understanding of their insurance coverage, billing and subscriptions.
- Ensuring clients have completed their profiles, up to date information is recorded across platforms.
- Being an excellent communicator and liaison between the pharmacy, medical and customer service teams to ensure an excellent and seamless client experience.
- Invite clients to leave positive feedback on our trust pilot

**Desired Qualification & Experience**:

- University or college degree in the area of journalism, communications and/or medical office assistant
- Medical Office Administration Experience is an asset
- Previous clerical experience in a medical setting is an asset
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Documented dependability (excellent attendance record)

**Skills**
- Organizational skills and attention to detail required to perform activities
- Ability to use technology to complete tasks in an efficient manner
- Self-directed learner who can proactively complete tasks
- High degree of professionalism and autonomy
- Must be able to create reports for management review.

**Work Schedule**:
Hybrid

Typical schedule during the week will be 4 days in the office and 1 day at home.

Full-time

**Salary**

$17/hour
