**Job Summary**:
The Project Coordinator works alongside Project Managers and Business Analysts to help drive projects to successful completion. The Project Coordinator helps coordinate schedules, budgets, issues, and risks of projects while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven core values such as Sustainability (people, planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm flexible as required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor project progress and create project status reports for Project Managers and other stakeholders
- Schedule stakeholder meetings and help facilitate communication between the project team and stakeholders throughout the duration of a project
- Maintain clear and timely communication to develop positive relationships
- Efficiently prioritize work and provide timely updates to stakeholders on progress
- Manage project management documents such as the project plan, budget, and schedule
- Work with Business Analysts to develop supporting documentation including testing, training, and/or reference guides and data dictionary documents
- Support change management activities in projects
- Assist the PMO with the project intake process, including assisting stakeholders with business case writing, intake review, and ensuring all information is gathered before a project is reviewed by a committee
- Support the release and ongoing management of the PMO’s intranet site to keep the business informed of PMO activities
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
- Other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
Technical
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
- Minimum five years of project coordination or project-related work experience
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, or desire to obtain one
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project is an asset
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems, Syspro in particular, is an asset
