Music School Lesson Advisor

Welcome to Cosmo School of Music, where music education is our passion We are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our team and seeking a talented and enthusiastic Lesson Advisor to join us.

As a leading provider of music education in the Greater Toronto Area, we are committed to providing our students with the most comprehensive and exciting learning experience possible. We offer a variety of group programs and private one-on-one music lessons, both online and in-person.

In this exciting role, the Lesson Advisor will be responsible for supporting our school families with any day-to-day questions, concerns, and scheduling requests. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take on new inquiries and follow up with past clients who have previously shown interest in music lessons.

As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our students achieve their musical goals. You will work closely with the Director of Cosmo School of Music, Teachers and other team members to ensure that our students receive the best possible experience.

**Scope of Responsibility**:

- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and questions from prospective and current students and their families.
- Manage and maintain student schedules in our scheduling system.
- Facilitate communication between students, parents, and teachers to ensure the best possible music education experience.
- Follow up with prospective and past clients to generate new admissions and renewals.
- We like to understand why our student do not renew so you will share that information with Director of the School too as part of our feedback process.
- Assist with general administrative duties.
- Work collaboratively with the Director and other team members to achieve the school's goals and objectives.
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment that aligns with Cosmo School of Music's culture and values.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Customer Service and Administration: Providing exceptional customer service to school families, answering day-to-day questions and concerns, managing scheduling requests, and performing basic administrative duties.
- Sales and Enrolments: Taking on new inquiries, following up with past clients who have previously shown interest in music lessons, and meeting sales targets.
- Event Planning and Support: Supporting the Director of Cosmo School of Music with the execution and planning for both internal and external events held within the Cosmopolitan Music Hall.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or administration
- A passion for music and an understanding of music education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges.
- Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays (11 am - 6 pm)

**Compensation and Benefits**:
Compensation for this full-time position includes a competitive base hourly wage plus the opportunity to earn commissions on sales. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
