Drum Instructor

Rockstar Music is a network of university-educated musicians, teachers and recording industry professionals. We provide private, one-on-one, in-home and online music lessons, as well as community-based music programs, including Rock Bands, Preschool and Ukulele Jams.

We are currently seeking Music Teachers to join our team.

**Requirements**:

- A reliable vehicle to get to and from lessons. No public transit or bikes.
- Reliable, patient, open-minded and enjoy working with children
- Able to work independently with limited to no supervision
- Able to teach technique and repertoire in a fun, engaging manner
- Post-secondary and RCM education is considered an asset
- ECEs & Ontario Certified Teachers are encouraged with rate premiums

**Responsibilities**:

- Encourage the joy of making music
- Help students develop the discipline and commitment required for success
- Make learning just as fun as making music itself
- Building a strong relationship with the students to better help them succeed
- Give brief feedback to parents at the end of every lesson

**IMPORTANT NOTE**
- You must have a vehicle. No transit or bikes.
- Your weekly availability
- Cities/neighbourhoods you would like to accept students
- If you would also like to teach out of your home studio
