Admin Assistant/Accounts Payable Clerk

Columbia Glazing Systems is currently looking for an experienced Admin Assistant/Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with sales account receivable, invoicing, and payment collection
- Schedule deliveries and order materials
- Sorting, batching and data entry of all invoices
- Ensure that all accounts payable transactions are posted on a timely basis
- Code and enter vendor invoices and credit notes
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Reconcile supplier accounts and invoices
- Attach necessary backup to vendor invoices
- Update various accounting spreadsheets
- Various other ad-hoc tasks
- New Order processing
- Monitoring and maintaining office inventories
- Creating, editing, and updating spreadsheets
- Prepare, input, edit and proofread correspondence and related materials in both electronic and paper formats
- Answer telephone and electronic inquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory)
- Intermediate+ Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous experience with Sage 300/Accpac ERP systems is preferred
- Exceptional problem solving ability
- Works well to meet deadlines under pressure
- Highly organized and works well as a team
- Ability to multi-task and display an exceptional attention to detail
- Understanding of the Accounts Payable cycle
Experience
- Accounts Payable: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
Other:
- Working hours: 7:45am to 4:45pm
