We service and repair all makes and models of pedestrian entrances in Metro Vancouver and the lower mainland. **Role Overview**:
As an **Administrative Assistant**, you’ll play a crucial role in evaluating project specs, reading blueprints, and preparing detailed cost proposals for new installations, retrofits, and service jobs. You'll work closely with our sales, engineering, and project teams to deliver accurate and timely estimates that win projects and build strong customer relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
- Communicate with suppliers for pricing on materials and equipment
- Collaborate with the sale and technical teams to develop competitive bids and proposals
- Identify project risks and provide value-engineered solutions
- Maintain and update a database of historical project costs
- Maintain and prioritize key relationships and customer satisfaction

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in estimating, preferably in construction or automatic door/access control industry
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and time management skills

**Bonus Points If You Have**:

- Knowledge of automatic door systems (sliding, swinging, revolving, etc.)
- Experience with industry standards (AAADM certification a plus)

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
