Marketing Coordinator

Overview: - WildBrain Studios is hiring for a **Marketing Coordinator, Content & Studios** In this role you will play a key support role in both content marketing for our productions and in the marketing and communications efforts for our Vancouver animation studio. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Content & Studios, you will help create effective marketing toolkits for WildBrain’s original productions such as Sonic Prime, The Snoopy Show, Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City, Polly Pocket, and many more, as well as pitch materials for projects still in development. You will also support the Studio Communications Manager and Social Media Manager in providing marketing and communications services to the studio and its stakeholders. **Responsibilities & Qualifications**: **What You'll Do**: - Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to assist with the collection & creation of marketing deliverables, including gathering bios, writing and editing synopses and loglines, identifying stills and clips, pulling character poses, etc. - Coordinate feedback and approvals from clients and production partners such as Apple, Mattel, Sega and Netflix for marketing assets. - Track asset progress and deliveries, and maintain up-to-date tracking documents. - Help maintain organized files of final marketing deliverables and ensure key members of the Strategic Marketing Group and other teams are equipped with the latest marketing assets when cleared for use. - Assist the team with gathering materials for content awards submissions. - Support external marketing efforts for the studio as needed, such as festival participation and events, initiatives by the Social Media Manager, and other opportunities as they arise. - Provide event support for internal studio events. - Brief and collaborate with designers on the Creative team as required to create. marketing/communications materials - Adhere to WildBrain brand guidelines in all Studio marketing and communications material. **What You'll Bring**: - 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience. - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Media / Communications or equivalent experience. - Excellent communicator and copywriter with strong grasp of grammar and spelling, comfortable adapting copy to different voices and audiences—from kids to staff to clients. - Skilled at interpreting feedback from multiple stakeholders into clear actionable notes, and finding solutions when opinions differ. - Insightful and pro-active problem-solver. - Experience working directly with clients and partners. - Expert in Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Some Adobe Creative Suite experience is a bonus. - Sharp eye for detail in both visual and written material—able to look closely and spot the little things. - Highly organized with excellent time management skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects with competing and concurrent deadlines. - A self-driven team-player - someone who takes initiative but is comfortable collaborating with multiple teams to produce quality work that meets many groups’ needs. - Knowledge of the animation industry or related media/entertainment field considered an asset. - Willing to embrace their inner child to get excited about making content for kids **Why WildBrain**: We make sure to take care of all our hard-working Wild Brains by offering a comprehensive benefits package and a workplace culture that values our employees’ wellbeing.
