**Position: Part-Time/Full-Time Office Assistant**
**Responsibilities**: As our Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently managing reception duties, including patient greetings and registrations.
- Handling appointment scheduling and phone inquiries with professionalism.
- Delivering excellent patient service and care.
- Proficiently utilizing appointment and patient file software (Accuro).
- Maintaining the highest level of accuracy in all testing procedures.
- Executing additional tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director and/or Physician.
**Skills and Qualifications**: To excel in this position, you should possess:
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A professional demeanor and appearance.
- The ability to adapt to a diverse patient demographic.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional multitasking capabilities.
- Adeptness at thriving in a high-paced office environment.

- A strong willingness to learn and adapt.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including the ability to learn new software and programs.
**Experience**: While experience in an optometric or ophthalmology office is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement. We value the right attitude and potential over prior experience.
**Working Arrangements**: Due to the nature of the job, remote work is not an option for this position. _**The job will offer between 15-30 hours per week with a possibility of 30-40 hours per week.**_ It commences as a part-time role, with the potential for advancement to a full-time position based on performance.
**Compensation**: The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of $16.55-18 per hour. Join us in providing exceptional patient care within the field of Ophthalmology
