Here’s where you come in
We are growing and currently looking to add Trader Trainees to our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for New or Recent Graduates CMI has developed a structured development program which will allow you to learn the business directly from the Subject Matter Experts - from spending time in the yards to shadowing our experienced commodity Traders.

At the end of the development program, you will be responsible for buy/sell decisions for new and existing customers. Your ultimate goal would be to grow the CMI brand of excellence, develop strategic business relationships and achieve the profit margin goals.

- Create a monthly sales plan for each grade type/commodity
- Meet with existing and potential customers to gather and analyze needs and requirements for material
- Develop strong business relationships with a growing portfolio of customers
- Expand profitable business with existing customers
- Market material to the most appropriate customer to get the best value
- Ensure orders are executed on time
- Manage after-sales service
- Provide analysis and deliver timely sales reporting

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Education in a business-related program (new grads are encouraged to apply)
- Exposure or experience in a B2B sales environment (preferred but not necessary)
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to achieve performance in alignment with goals and objectives
- Excellent customer service skills
- Motivated and creative team player
