**The role will provide leadership with analytical data and insights** to make strategic and tactical business decisions. The Commercial Operations Specialist **will provide understanding of drivers that influence sales performance to impact optimal processes** within the commercial organization.

**In this role, a typical day will look like**:
Commercial Operations Protocol (40%)
- ** Benchmark Pall Water commercial operations practices **with internal and external best practices, making recommendations/gaining internal approval for execution of improvements and project management of implementation.
- ** Collaborate with sales leaders** to support deployment of consistent funnel management and improvements through SFDC and creating Standard work for the Global sales team.
- ** Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement**. Works closely with sales management to inspect commercial process quality, prioritize, and implement opportunities.

Data Management & Analysis (30%)
- ** Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports** and other intelligence essential to the commercial organization in a timely fashion. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in business, marketing, engineering or related field with 3+ years exp
- ** 3+ years of Commercial operations experience** in sales, marketing, product management, customer service or other related commercial roles
- ** Knowledge of reporting and data analytics tools** like Excel, SAS, Power BI, Qlikview, Spotfire, Tableau, Business objects
- Demonstrated **ability to manage business processes**.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations.
- Ability to travel when needed for meetings and site visits. Up to 10% of the time. Primarily throughout North America via car or airplane.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- 5+ years of Commercial operations experience in sales, marketing, product management, customer service or other related commercial roles
- MBA degree
