**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a full time **Senior Buyer** (Buyer II) to join our team in London, Ontario

As the Senior Buyer, you will:

- Manage the negotiation and procurement of various project goods/services in support of aftermarket, service, and/or project execution.
- Resolve supply chain logístical and accounting concerns with both suppliers and Pall Water internal customers.
- Manage supplier performance, supplier evaluation, and supplier development, completing interviews, making recommendations, and selecting vendors/suppliers using an established supplier qualification process.
- Develop and implement advanced sourcing strategies that will drive direct & indirect cost savings.
- Develop RFP's and RFQ's to support engineering specifications and project requirements.
- Travel internationally (up to 20% of the time), most across North America, to manage vendor relationships and participate in continuous improvement events.

**Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline/program.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ procurement/category management experience.
- ERP / MRP system knowledge - we especially want to hear from you if you have previously worked with SAP or Infor LN.
- You are a strong critical thinker and problem solver who has a track record of achieving results in a high-performance / metrics-driven culture.
- You possess strong communication and negotiation skills with a “customer-centered” attitude.

**It would be a plus** if you also possess:

- Previous procurement experience in the water industry, especially in water filtration or treatment.
- Previous experience working for a project-based business.
