The Alberta Emergency Management Agency (AEMA), under the authority of the Emergency Management Act, leads the coordination and co-operation of all organizations involved in emergencies and disasters. This includes emergency and disaster prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery.

**Role Responsibilities**:
Business Relationship Coordinators are the main contact between AFRRCS and the user agencies. The BRC's are continually noting if there are opportunities to enhance, modify or change the way in which services are provide, in order to better serve the user agencies. This includes identifying risks, issues and trends and then working closely with the AFRRCS Technical Advisor, Business Analyst as well as the AFRRCS Leadership team to ensure the ongoing success of AFRRCS.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Liaise with existing Agencies, which involves regularly traveling to user agencies throughout Alberta
- Coordinate the on-boarding of new user agencies
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships to work closely with clients to assess and analyze their business needs
- Facilitation of interagency operability workshops
- Deployment of AFRRCS resources
- Obtain reports from UAS and AAMS as needed or as requested
- Implementation of stakeholder engagement plan
- Attending conferences and trade shows
- Troubleshooting with stakeholders to resolve issues
- Develop travel plans
- Develop recommendations and plans to support stakeholder needs

- University degree in a related field, PLUS 2 years related experience or equivalent as described.

- Related 2-year diploma PLUS a minimum 4 years of experience

- Understanding of emergency management approaches in Alberta
- Experience in course development and/or facilitating training
