POSITION OVERVIEW
- Assist in the accounts payable, accounts receivable functions.
- Data Entry experience able to maintain and update various reporting Excel spreadsheets
- Works closely with the controller towards meeting weekly, monthly close deadlines, year-ends, and other duties as required.
- Critical success factors for the role require a focus on accuracy, compliance, process improvement and efficiency

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an accurate update of the accounts payable & accounts receivable as it relates to all organizational transactions
- Oversee accurate payments and cash receipts pertaining to company accounts payables and receivables
- Maintain and update various Excel spreadsheet reports
- Special projects as requested by the Controller or President
- Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in multi company environment preferred
- Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting field required
- Minimum of 2 years experience with SAGE 50 required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Excel required

OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- An accounting background preferred with very strong accounting knowledge as it pertains to reconciliation and transactions
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Simply Accounting/Sage 50 experience
- Good communication skills
- High degree of professionalism
