Job Description:

The Data Entry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the data entry team to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of data. This role includes supervising staff, optimizing workflows, ensuring data quality, and maintaining compliance with organizational standards and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and support data entry staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Assign, monitor, and balance daily workloads across the team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, track productivity, and provide coaching or corrective action.
  • Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage workflow to meet deadlines and project requirements.
  • Prepare daily performance reports and maintain logs and documentation of data entry activities.
  • Oversee data entry systems, identify technical issues, and coordinate with IT for troubleshooting or upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supervising or leading a data entry team.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data entry systems, databases, and digital tools.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to audit data and identify errors.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting, feedback, and cross-department collaboration.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations, confidentiality requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Problem-solving skills to address system issues, operational challenges, and process inefficiencies.
  • Ability to train new hires and provide ongoing staff development.
