**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, with precision and artistry.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality by conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining proper storage practices.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the preparation process.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in menu planning and development by providing input on new sushi offerings based on seasonal ingredients or trends.
- Train junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and best practices for food handling.

**Experience**
- 5 years experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
- Previous restaurant experience is essential, with familiarity in fast-paced kitchen environments being a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
