**Role Description**:
The Full Cycle Bookkeeper role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting activities for the company. This includes invoices, billing, preparing bank reconciliations, filing quarterly HST returns, and preparing tax returns.
**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:
- Manage the full cycle of accounting activities independently.
- Process accounts payable.
- Invoice clients and customers.
- Process accounts receivable.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Prepare bank statements and monthly reconciliations.
- File quarterly HST returns.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements.
- Develop and maintain filing systems to organize sales records and prepare reports.
- Create useful reports on incoming and completed orders.
- Prepare sales reports for budgeting and forecasting purpose.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with QuickBooks online; must have experience with the inventory module.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping, especially accounting for e-commerce businesses and multi-currency sales.
- Previous experience as a full cycle bookkeeper.
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to work to a strict deadline.
- Work well independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment.
