- Develops and implements strategic plans for key accounts, resulting in sales growth and a mutual benefit.
- Delivers budget and stretches sales targets, as introduced at the start of each new fiscal year.
- Follows up leads, prepares quotes and proposals using appropriate resources and wins new business; manages opportunities via pipeline tool (funnel), as appropriate.
- Cultivates and maintains strong customer relationships, culminating in status as “trusted advisor.”
- Sponsors and manages onboarding with new customers.
- Facilitates implementation of contracts and agreements using Company’s legal counsel as required.
- Communicates and coordinates with internal teams to address customer issues, needs and opportunities in a timely manager.
- Escalates serious concerns as needed, owning the situation from start to finish.
- Delivers and negotiates price increases, providing facts and rationale to minimize risk of lost business.
- Supports finance team’s effort to secure payments on past-due receivables.
- Assists customers in field to solve problems and create pull for new business.
- Represents Company at company-sponsored trade shows and customers events.
- Other duties can be assigned based on company needs and employee capabilities.

**Supervisory Responsibility**:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. At times, due to projects or work assignments, employee will need to coordinate and direct a team to meet/satisfy individual/company objectives.
**Work Environment**:
This position operates from a home office. The position can have long periods of travel (roughly 3 hours from home office) This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. At times, employee might be exposed to manufacturing environment, including forklift traffic, fumes, noise, and operating manufacturing equipment.
**Physical Demands**:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, driving in vehicle, and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. To meet our customer demands and internal objectives, at times this role will be required to work outside of the normal schedule, including weekends.
**Travel**:
Overnight travel is expected for this position. Expected travel time is roughly 50%.
**Required Education and Experience**:
- Associates Degree in relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience with a track record of meeting sales quotas
**Preferred Education and Experience**:
- Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
- Project Management experience.
- Industry experience preferred.
- Experience with CRM system
