We are revolutionizing the world of interactive content and seeking driven and talented Account Executive with a strong background in sales. To support our strong growth, we are actively looking for new talent; someone who is passionate about technology and sales.
**How You Will Make an Impact**:
- Active prospecting in relevant market segments in North America
- Meeting and exceeding set sales quotas for the H5P Product
- Directly contribute to the value of H5P Group as a company by generating revenue
- Making prospecting an integral part of your regular routine ensuring new prospects are being added to the sales funnel on an ongoing basis
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements and negotiating contracts
- Contribute ideas, suggestions, and strategies to help shape H5P as a company and improve our internal sales processes
- Gather feedback so as to communicate with our product development team on ways in which we can ultimately improve our platform.
- To be successful as an Account Executive at H5P Group, you should be able to explain product and service specifications clearly and concisely.
- Attend training events throughout the year and participate in self-paced tutorial learning when appropriate to grow and develop personal skills which ensure you are equipped to provide the best possible service to customers to achieve your own personal growth
- Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows
- Provide potential customers with support and information in prepared written presentations, reports and price quotations and contract proposals
- Building and managing a quantifiable 12-month sales pipeline
- Being well informed about current industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about the H5P Product
- Continually learn about new products and improve selling skills
- Being able to travel 25%+
**What You'll Bring to the Role**:
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a Sales or Business Development, preferable in EdTech solutions and Open Source software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills
- Must have strong understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and dealing with top decision makers
- The ability to “think on your feet” and juggle many projects/tasks at once.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle stressful situations (i.e. managing several operational tasks/systems and communications simultaneously).
- A self
- driven person that likes to take initiative and responsibility.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Service-minded.
- Familiarity with the CRM Copper and Salesforce is a plus
- Experience from working within an international environment.
- Must possess strong leadership, motivational and presentation skills
- Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with mínimal supervision
- A degree or diploma in business management, business administration or a similar area of study
- Must be able to travel 50%+
- Base Salary Range
- $85,000—$115,000 CAD
