Position: Business Development Executive (Non-Union)

Location: Regina, SK

ISM is looking for an experienced sales professional with a hunter mentality and experience in selling services. The Business Development Executive should bring a consultative sales approach and be eager to build new relationships in uncharted markets. Success in this role requires the ability to discuss ISM’s service offerings both technically and in terms of business impact.

Responsibilities:
- Identifies, participates and leads business development activities, including bid and proposal efforts.- Works with members of the ISM team to ensure quality of service, on-time delivery and that costs are within target.- Serves as a consultant to the client during the design and implementation of the service(s).- Manages financial indicators, measurements and costs to meet revenue, profit and growth objectives.- Identifies and interfaces with new customers and develops, maintains and expands customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction.- Provides strategic leadership and direction for assigned portfolio of service(s) including developing and executing the strategy to ensure success of assigned service(s).- Accountable for the development, lifecycle and achievement of business objectives (revenue, cost, growth, performance and customer satisfaction) for assigned service(s).-
- Champions assigned service(s) and acts as the point of escalation for issues affecting assigned service(s).- Designs and adjusts assigned service(s) based on technological/market direction, customer and/or competitive requirements and industry accepted best practices.- Works with members of the team to ensure quality of service, on time delivery and costs are within contract targets.- Engages the account team to effectively execute to contract terms, conditions and growth, providing leadership and delivery oversight.- Understands and participates in consultative selling techniques to identify business opportunities and to leverage resources in closing new business with the client.- Develops and/or assists in the development of service(s) and/or portfolio of services that meet market and customer requirements.- Serves as a consultant during the design and implementation of service(s).- Increases awareness and understanding through delivery information sessions/presentations on topic(s) relating to areas of responsibility which may include a sales focus, technology future view, etc.- Drives ISM’s success and advocates for our evolving line of services.- Leads cross-functional teams as required for multi-disciplinary projects.- May directly supervise one or more employees and is responsible for executing all regular managerial responsibilities (including workforce planning, performance reviews, etc.)- Understands and manages financial indicators, measurements and costs, to meet contract revenue, profit and growth objectives.- Accountable for the profitability of assigned service(s).- Responsible for managing and delivering financial results for assigned area of responsibility, including the creation of the annual budget including capital investment resources, etc.

Quién es usted

Qualifications:
- University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience- Proven track record of sales growth and expanding into new customer segments- Extensive knowledge of Managed Services, Cloud Computing and Big Data/Analytics- Hunter mentality combined with a consultative sales approach and strategic thinking- Experience interacting with clients.- Previous relationships and an existing network in the industry would be an asset- Experience developing business relationships as well as managing and maintaining customer relationships- Ability to work independently combined with strong self-motivation and persistence- Proven experience managing and/or delivering similar services with increasing degree of responsibility and proven track record with the ability to execute according to plan- Experience should include high impact service delivery in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment- Knowledge across related service technology platforms considered an asset
