Service Coordinator

The main duties and responsibilities of the Employee shall include the processing of work orders through to invoicing, technician parts research and selection/ processing, warranty claim filing / submissions:
- Assignment, creation, and completion of work orders ensuring accuracy in customer billing which encompasses the quoting and invoicing (or warranty claim creation) process with processing Purchase Orders and Payments.
- Process all technician parts requirements into orders with deliveries to assigned technician(s) in a timely fashion.
- Communicate with customers the initial diagnosis and on the ongoing progress and/or issues with their equipment being repaired.
- Answer incoming calls for service.
- Preparation and presentation of quotes / estimates to customers requesting approval for the required work.
- Schedule appointments and balance workload.
- Conduct all service warranty and recalls / product improvement program claims within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit maintaining contact with clients on progress.
- Professionally assist in the direct customer service and with troubleshooting either in person or over the telephone. Resolve elevated customer issues as needed in a sensitive, considerate, and skillful manner.
- Alternate lunch hour and vacations with alternate Service Coordinator.
- Shall devote his/her full working time, efforts and attention exclusively to the business and affairs of DAC Industrial and shall not be engaged in any other commercial or business occupation.
- Attend all related training as so deemed appropriate and required by the Service Manager.
- Participate in daily tech “toolbox” talks
- Assist the Service Manager as so required.
**EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Have mechanical knowledge in the industrial equipment market.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Successfully work in a fast-paced team environment with an excellent customer service skillset while maintaining punctuality and reliability.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Bondable, Criminal record check, Driver's validity license check, driving record check (abstract)
