**Position purpose**:
Reporting to the Human Resources Generalist of the faculty, the incumbent is responsible for the successful completion of human resources activities, including hiring, leave management, labour relations, performance management and support staff records administration.

In this role, your responsibilities will include, among others:
Acting as a resource person to supervisors and faculty support staff in all matters related to benefits, leave, the conduct of the performance and development evaluation exercise, and University methods and processes.

Coordinating and ensuring the proper execution of hiring processes including posting, selection, interviewing, questionnaire development, reference checks and integration of new employees.

Preparing information for contract preparation, coordinate compensation adjustments and retroactive pay following ratification of collective agreements.

Participating in the development, review and update of procedures related to the areas of activity in which she is involved, in order to make them more effective and efficient.

**What you will bring**:
In-depth knowledge of human resources management, normally acquired through post-secondary education and relevant work experience.

Knowledge and experience related to analyzing and interpreting collective agreements.

Work experience in a setting where handling confidential information is required.

Good communications and interpersonal relations skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Attention to detail and sound judgment.

Bilingualism — English and French (spoken and written)
