**Job description**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are currently looking to grow our Business Development team with a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will report to the head of sales and be responsible for growing our client base by taking discovery calls, hosting demos on video conference and ensuring leads move down the sales funnel smoothly to ultimately close new business.

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full Time

**YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**
- Growing our client base via qualifying and closing inbound leads as well as prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing outbound and self sourced leads
- Average expected close rate is 25% of qualified leads
- Meeting Monthly, Quarterly & Annual client acquisition targets
- Managing potential client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
- Providing a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
- Planning & Strategizing marketing activities with the Marketing team

TASKS INCLUDE:

- Prepare for calls by gathering data on leads
- Nurture leads and add them to targeted sequences as needed
- Follow up and ensure sales qualified leads are moving down the sales funnel.
- Assist with hand off to the customer success team.
- Update and maintain property fields of all contacts, leads and deal in HubSpot CRM

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3 + years of B2B sales experience ideally with HR technology and/or SaaS-based product.
- Experiencing demoing a SaaS-based product, using screen-sharing technology
