Job DescriptionJob Description: We are looking for a Senior IT Technical Business Analyst to support complex, multi-initiative programs within a large healthcare and regulated environment. The role involves advanced business analysis, technical requirements management, and solution support across system modernization, process improvements, and digital platform enhancements.The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to ensure business needs are accurately translated into technical specifications and aligned with operational and technical constraints.Roles & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements :Lead requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and documentationAnalyze business processes, workflows, and use casesTranslate business requirements into clear functional and technical specificationsAssess new technology or service requests and evaluate operational impactsSupport project planning activities including estimates, schedules, and task coordinationTechnical Evaluation & Solution SupportResearch and assess emerging technologies relevant to assigned initiativesReview existing systems and recommend improvement or modernization strategiesSupport proof-of-concept initiatives and production rolloutsContribute to solution designs, technical documentation, and test plansAssist in identifying hardware and software requirementsProvide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholdersQuality, Governance & Change ManagementEnsure quality standards during solution implementationFollow approved change and release management processesCommunicate operational policies and proceduresIdentify risks, issues, and dependencies; recommend mitigation strategiesTrack deliverables, timelines, and status reportsPreferred Skills :Experience in healthcare, public sector, or regulated industriesExposure to digital health platforms or enterprise systemsExperience working with senior leadership and technical teamsRequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications :8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business AnalystStrong experience in requirements elicitation and technical documentationExperience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environmentsKnowledge of Canadian health information legislation (e.g., Health Information Act or equivalent)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple concurrent initiativesRequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications : 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst Strong experience in requirements elicitation and technical documentation Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments Knowledge of Canadian health information legislation (e.g., Health Information Act or equivalent) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
