**Part-Time Business Analyst**

**Location**: Edmonton, AB - In Office

**Support**: May support Calgary operations remotely

We’re looking for a **Business Analyst** to help us understand how our clients run their businesses.

You’ll work directly with owners, managers, and staff to document workflows, find bottlenecks, and turn observations into practical insights.

**What You’ll Do**
- Conduct ethnographic interviews and on-site observations to understand real workflows
- Map out client business models using process and value-stream diagrams
- Identify inefficiencies, pain points, and automation opportunities
- Work with our Solutions Design team to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Build visual process documentation (swim lanes, RACI charts, BusinessOS maps)
- Create client-facing summaries that connect business outcomes to IT strategy
- Support the development of internal BusinessOS templates and playbooks
- Help track measurable results (time saved, reduced friction, improved experience)

**What You Bring**
- **2-3 years of direct Business Analyst experience** in a similar or relevant role
- **Formal education in business, management, or information systems** is a bonus
- **Proven real-world BA experience** that aligns closely with the responsibilities above
- Strong interviewing and listening skills—comfortable talking with all levels of staff
- Ability to simplify and visualize complex business processes
- Familiarity with tools like Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments is an asset
- Experience with MSPs or small/medium businesses is a plus
- **Must be legally eligible to work in Canada** without employer sponsorship or pending PR status
