If so—this role is for youWe’re partnering exclusively with a leading organization to hire a skilled Business Systems Analyst who can jump in quickly and make an immediate impact across a variety of IT initiatives.AdvantagesWork on diverse projects—everything from application enhancements to security initiatives.Hybrid flexibility: 2 days onsite in Oakville, 3 days remote.High-impact work with direct visibility across IT, business, and leadership teams.A collaborative, fast-moving environment where BSAs are hands-on, influential, and trusted.A January start with strong potential for a contract extension.ResponsibilitiesAs a key BSA on the team, you’ll be right at the centre of delivering business and technology solutions:Requirements & AnalysisLead workshops and meetings with internal and external stakeholdersDocument and prioritize business & functional requirementsCreate BRDs, process flows, use cases, and solution design documentsTranslate requirements into Jira epics & user storiesCollaborate with Architecture, Development, QA, Operations & SecurityProject / Initiative LeadershipPlan and support initiatives of varying size and complexityPrepare key project artifacts (charters, risk logs, status reports)Run sprint ceremonies and work closely with dev/QA teamsLiaise with external vendors to ensure deliverables stay on trackDeliveryPartner across IT and business teams to drive solutions from concept through to releaseServe as the translator between business needs and technical implementationProvide leadership and clarity throughout the full SDLCQualificationsYou're someone who can “jump in” quickly and operate confidently in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment. You’re comfortable being a jack-of-all-trades BSA—someone who can run meetings, gather requirements, think critically, and provide solutions that actually work.Qualifications4–5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst (more is welcome)Experience in financial services or mortgage lending considered a strong assetHands-on familiarity with Agile, 2-week sprints, Jira, ConfluenceStrong SDLC understanding—end to endExcellent communication: written and verbalAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesExperience delivering multiple types of projects (enhancements, integrations, off-the-shelf implementations, etc.)SummaryIf you are looking for more than just a tech team — this environment is a collaborative, forward-thinking group that thrives on delivering real impact.
