Their team is driven by a commitment to excellence, customer support, and long-term partnerships with healthcare institutions.WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB?Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets through the development of new accounts and expansion of existing relationships in departments with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, OR nurses and Managers, Pharmacy, Health and Safety, Blood Banks, OR Purchasing, Anesthesia Techs and Respiratory Techs.Business Development: Identify, pursue, and convert opportunities within acute care and critical care markets.Account Management: Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and hospital administrators.Customer Support & Education: Provide product demonstrations, in-service training, and technical support to clinical staff to drive adoption of solutions.Market Engagement: Attend trade shows, conferences, and conventions to promote products and stay informed on industry developments.RequirementsWHAT DOES THE IDEAL CANDIDATE OFFER?Education & TrainingA college diploma or university degree is valued, but not required.A background in business, health sciences, or a related field is an asset.Work Experience & AccomplishmentsProven track record of sales success, preferably in medical devices, acute care, or hospital environments.Experience building relationships with key clinical stakeholders, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR staff, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and purchasing teams.Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities within healthcare markets.Skills & CompetenciesStrong English communication and interpersonal skills to engage both clinical and administrative decision-makers.Ability to quickly develop trust and solid business relationships in key accounts.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and time-management skills to balance client-facing and administrative responsibilities.Aptitude for understanding clinical products and effectively presenting technical and clinical data.A competitive mentality similar to a varsity or professional athlete.OtherMust have access to an insured vehicle that is capable of travelling in the Markham-Scarborough area and have a valid driver's license.Residing in the territory with a fully functional home office is required.Legally allowed to work in Canada.BenefitsWHAT DOES THE COMPANY OFFER IN RETURN?Competitive base salary with performance-based incentive opportunities.Comprehensive health and dental benefits.Generous paid time off, including vacation and company holidays.Ongoing training and professional development programs to support clinical knowledge and sales growth.Opportunities to attend leading industry conferences and events.A collaborative team environment within a respected healthcare organization committed to innovation and patient safety.This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional passionate about acute care solutions and driven to build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals.
