This role ensures accurate scheduling, efficient dispatching, and clear communication with job sites, vendors, and customers. It maintains strong safety and compliance standards while adapting to real-time operational changes. Success in this position requires strong organization, problem-solving, and collaboration to deliver reliable, high-quality service aligned with project and company goals. Job Duties:Coordinate and dispatch trucks for paving, grinding, shouldering, and other construction activities, ensuring on‑time arrival and efficient loadingManage order intake, customer communication, and real‑time resolution of service or quality issuesMonitor job site progress, adjust trucking plans quickly, and maintain continuous communication with supervisors, plants, vendors, and order takersOversee safety and compliance, ensuring all vendors meet job site standards and properly use required technology (e.g., TREAD)Lead collaboration between site teams and vendors by organizing check‑ins, reviewing analytics, and supporting continuous improvementTrack operational performance metrics to drive efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction Requirements:Minimum 5 years of dispatching experience in construction, aggregates, paving, logistics, or heavy‑equipment environmentsStrong ability to coordinate multiple trucks/equipment in a high‑volume, fast‑paced settingExperience working directly with construction sites, trucking fleets, or vendors, with strong customer service and order‑taking skillsKnowledge of materials, regional geography, and vendor networks preferredProficiency with dispatching systems, GPS/fleet management tools, and technology‑driven workflows (including TREADDemonstrated communication, problem‑solving, leadership, adaptability, and attention to detail, with the ability to perform under pressureAvailability to work afternoon shiftsWillingness to travel to local job sites as requiredValid G‑class driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle  CRH Canada Group Inc., does not directly use artificial intelligence to screen, assess or select applicants.
